Welcome to the LISTENING STRATEGIES PAGE.

The system presented in this part is based on the vision that there is a strong connection between the level of a student's vocabulary and the listening comprehension. Therefore, the first part is based on teaching different kinds of texts, which the students have to be familiar with according to the demands of the New Curriculum. The second part works on the language of instructions frequently used in the listening comprehension. The third part focuses on words frequently used in listening in general. The fourth part presents twenty worksheets based on vocabulary which can be found in texts and questions on each specific topic. The vocabulary in the fourth part is taken from the texts and questions written in the book called "Module A Practice Papers" by ECB. We use our worksheets as pre-listening activities for the listening comprehension activities presented in this book.
