The Gesher Chai (Living Bridge) program started operating at our school in 1997.
We are one of the 4 high schools in the Beer-Sheva region that have been chosen to participate in this unique program.
The program focuses on building, developing and strengthening the connections with the Jewish community of Montreal,
Canada and in particular with Bialik School in Montreal.
This aim is achieved by exchanging letters, e-mails, pictures, cards, gifts and other
various materials, including mutual projects. In addition, there are teachers and students
delegations from both sides, with a special emphasis on a youth delegation on the Israeli Memorial and Independence Day.
Also, "Canada Day" and video conferences are held throughout the school year.
There is no doubt about the significance of this special program, which succeeds in creating
real and meaningful contact and relationships between Israel and the Diaspora.
