All of us volunteering and receiving books through the Books for Israel Project would love to know more about you and your bookdrive. This is of particular interest to the teachers and the students in the flagship community of schools who are the recipients of the books you collect and send. But it is also great for educators all around Israel, and fellow donors to know more about one another.

So please, create a write up about your drive.

Tell us how you first heard about the Project, why you decided to get involved, how you are organizing your bookdrive, and how it is going. Please let us know the names of all important people who are making your drive possible so that they (and you) can receive public thanks.

And send us photographs of yourself and others involved in making your drive possible.

We will then create a page about your bookdrive and link it to the “You Can Help” page of the site.

Please send the material as follows:-
1. If you do not know how to send digital or scanned photos,
send us your film prints along with identifying text and the story of your bookdrive
to our mailing address:

2. If you have a digital camera,
resize the pictures to 40% of their original size
and save them as jpg files, mailing them with the
identifying information and the story of your bookdrive
in the text of the e-mail itself (rather than as another attachment).

3. If you have regular film prints but have access to a scanner,
please scan regular photos at 100 dpi and save the scans as jpg files.
Mail these with the identifying information and story of your bookdrive
in the text of the e-mail (rather than as another attachment).

4. Whenever you send something to the walla address,
please drop a note to us at our hotmail address
so that we know to go to the walla site and check for your pictures and text there: b4i2002@hotmail.com
